During its June 14 meeting Lexington County Council unanimously passed without discussion an agreement with Interstate Container Columbia LLC.
Under the terms of the ordinance, the county committed to a fee-in-lieu-of-taxes agreement with Interstate Container for 20 years provided the company invests at least $13,795,000 in a project in the county.
