Reasoning Behind Council Members’ Stand on Budget

Lexington County Council members give their reasons for supporting or opposing the $102 million general fund budget for the fiscal year that begins July 1.

Councilman Todd Cullum, for one, says he supports the budget with the exception of pay raises for county employees because many of his constituents are struggling given the state of the economy.
